Sarner International, known for crafting renowned cultural and themed attractions, is unveiling a groundbreaking visitor experience at Malta’s Mercury Towers.
This immersive venture, merging entertainment with education, encompasses a dark walk, interactive exhibit, and a pioneering flying theatre ride—the first of its kind in Malta. Housed within Zaha Hadid Architects’ iconic Mercury Towers, it juxtaposes historic Mercury House with the soaring Mercury Tower, now Malta’s tallest building.
The attraction unfolds a captivating narrative of Malta’s history, from ancient structures to pivotal European battles, with Mercury House’s wartime significance woven in.
The climax is a ride on a custom flying theatre, a creation by Simtec Systems, promising a family-friendly, magical flight around the islands. This experience integrates cutting-edge effects like projection mapping, 3D sound, and special effects.
Collaborating with Heritage Malta, Sarner ensured historical precision in storytelling, scenic recreations, and film content, shot in 8k. This project redefines the flying theatre, harmonising education and excitement, setting a new standard in heritage attractions.
It solidifies Mercury Towers as Malta’s ultimate leisure destination, appealing to global audiences. The official launch is anticipated later in the year, offering a multi-sensory odyssey through Malta’s rich heritage.
