Malta’s Pop Icon Ira Losco Turns 44

Malta’s beloved pop star and Eurovision legend Ira Losco has officially turned 44, and celebrations poured in across social media, most notably from her husband, chef and former water polo player Sean Gravina.

In a heartfelt tribute, Gravina shared: “I’m so grateful to walk through life with you. You make our world brighter, our kids’ days sweeter, and my heart full.”

He also added a cheeky piece of advice: “To all the young men out there, happy wife, happy life is the truest saying you’ll ever live by. Make it your mission.”

Losco remains one of Malta’s most successful musical exports. She shot to fame after finishing second in the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest and later returned in 2016, securing an impressive twelfth place.

Beyond Eurovision, she’s performed alongside global stars like Elton John, Maroon 5, and Akon, and served as a judge on X Factor Malta.
