Malta Public Transport Announces Special Services For Isle of MTV 2024

Malta Public Transport will be providing special services to facilitate travel for all thoseattending the Isle of MTV event taking place at the Floriana Granaries on Tuesday, 16th July, 2024.

This annual music festival has become a key fixture in Europe’s festival calendars, with Malta hosting the event since 2007.

The bus services provided by the Malta Public Transport will be leaving from Valletta and will commence at 23:00 and end at 01:30. For those who do not own a Tallinja card, tickets will only be at €3 per passenger.

Austrian Woman Praised For Showing Off Her Maltese In TikTok Video

Laura, an Austrian Food scientist living in Malta showed off her Maltese language in her voice over showing what she cooks and eats throughout her day.

She quickly received praise in the comment section for her skills considering the short period of time she’s been living in Malta for; ever since 2022.

Many users admired her effort for learning and appreciating the language, being a major part of our Maltese culture, especially with many arguing that the Maltese language has seen a decline in recent years.

In the past, international creators have used the social media platform to highlight the language, with some explaining its history whilst others attempting to decipher it by listening to passers-by, highlighting the semantic nature of the Maltese language. 

The video got around 30k views on her account, which highlights the populations admiration to her dedication.

Maltese Woman Shares Body Positivity Story

Maltese woman Chantelle has revealed her inspiring body positivity story on her Instagram, aiming to inspire any person suffering with insecurities over their body.

She stated that life has thrown her some unexpected challenges and that while the physical scars are still healing, the emotional journey she has been on has been just as intense.

Chantelle exclusively revealed to Malta Daily that six months ago, in the middle of an important course for her career she unexpectedly ended up in the hospital with severe pain. What she thought to be appendicitis turned out to be more serious, requiring surgery and several weeks in the hospital.

In her post Chantelle thanked her family and close ones for her encouragement.

She reminded that anyone going through a tough time to be kind to themselves and that your scars are proof of your behavior. Chantelle ended the post by stating “Keep shining, keep fighting, and most importantly, keep loving yourself.”
