Malta Police Launches Ambitious 5-Year Strategy For Safer Communities

The Malta Police Force has officially unveiled its new five-year Corporate Strategy (2025–2030), titled Safer Communities, Smarter Policing. The initiative reflects the Force’s commitment to providing a safer, more accountable, and modern police service for all citizens.

Built around 15 key priorities and 75 specific commitments, the strategy builds on the successes of the previous five-year Transformation Strategy (2020–2025). It is guided by three core pillars: Ensuring Public Safety and Security, strengthening Public Trust and Police Legitimacy, delivering Smarter Policing.“This is not just a printed document it is a promise to the community. If the past is a guarantee of the future, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the Transformation Strategy 2020–2025, then Safer Communities, Smarter Policing 2025–2030 offers citizens peace of mind that we have a clear vision and another concrete plan for the years ahead,” said Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà.
