Malta launches tourism plan from 2021-2030 aimed at recovery and revitalisation

The Maltese Tourism sector has drawn up a plan that will be aimed at recovery in a post-COVID-19 world and also on the improvement of Malta’s tourism products and services.

Tourism Minister, Clayton Bartolo revealed the three pillars for this new strategy which will be in force from 2021-2030; recovery, rethinking and revitalisation.

This new plan will be aligning tourism with sustainability which will make the best use of our country’s natural and cultural attractions.

Fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger has always been a people’s brand, promoting inclusivity amongst different sectors of international culture and their latest post is a testament of that.

Their latest post features plus-size model Jada Sezer rocking full Tommy Hilfiger apparel and garnered over 120,000 likes within the first four hours.

The comment section blew up with fans praising the brand and the model herself, with Tommy Hilfiger replying some of the comments and highlighting that inclusivity is part of the brand’s DNA.

Australia goes one week without recording any new COVID-19 cases

As of 24 January 2021, Australia had gone one week without registering any new local cases of COVID-19, with only four infections being reported from hotel quarantine in New South Wales and Victoria.

Australia is currently on track with rolling out the Pfizer vaccine from February onwards, despite international shortages, with authorities stating that they have the virus under control in Australia.

Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt stated that the country has “the capacity and the will to lead the world in taking up COVID-19 vaccines”, while health officials stressing that testing rates remain low.

Hamrun vs. Valletta to be televised as ‘a gift to all Hamrun supporters’

It is reported that the transmission of the match is in collaboration and thanks to JPortelli Projects as ‘a gift to all Hamrun supporters’.

This announcement will surely be welcomed with a sigh of relief from Maltese football fanatics after the dismissal of fans from stadiums due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
