Malta’s creative scene is criminally underrated and the list of thriving local artists is extensive, which is why Unknown Tapestry’s ‘secret’ expo is something that should be given attention. This Maltese photographer and videographer put together this expo to raise awareness for Malta’s creative industry and promote some of the amazing work within it.

The artist highlighted how difficult it is for growing artist to develop opportunities due to the current state of the industry and the expo was put together to create such opportunities.

The event, held at the BMX Warehouse featured the work of incredible up and coming artists which includes Toni Bajada, Petra Wettinger, photographer @___.rakela and so many more. So if you haven’t already, make sure you show your support to Malta’s thriving creative scene!

The Economy Ministry has revealed that close to 90 of government stimulus vouchers have been used ahead of this weekend’s deadline.

Only three days are left for the €100 vouchers to be used, with economy minister Silvio Schembri appealing to those who haven’t used their vouchers to do so in the remaining three days until the October 31 deadline.

The stimulus vouchers were initially issued to kickstart local business affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with a second round issued to further motivate local business in retail, catering and hospitality.

Driver fired after fight; reportedly called colleague 'Kaboċċa'

The Industrial Tribunal has refused a driver’s request after a fight broke out between him and his colleague at St. Luke’s Hospital.

The case was opened by Joseph Schembri against Steward Malta Personnel Limited by a patient driver who was employed between 2017 and 2019.

Schembri argued unjust termination where he was fired after repeatedly calling his colleague a ‘kaboċċa’ and breaking into fisticuffs on the job. Schembri reportedly withdrew his claim, giving the company good reason for his termination.
