Local Maltese artist and graphic designer Zack Ritchie recently presented a stunning and unique piece of artwork to music sensation Ed Sheeran, accompanied by a heartfelt personal note.

The artwork serves as a visual narrative of Ed Sheeran’s life, capturing key moments in his journey as an artist, as well as highlighting his brief but impactful visit to the Maltese islands in July. This visit was a significant moment for many local artists, regardless of their field, as it underscored the influence and inspiration that Sheeran’s presence brought to the Maltese creative community.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Zack Ritchie shared his thoughts on the experience, writing, “A gift to a person I admire! @teddysphotos. A few weeks ago, I created this custom one-off artwork for Ed Sheeran during his time here in Malta 🇲🇹. The print was passed on to him along with a personal note of appreciation. This artwork is a reflection of Ed’s life journey and his visit to Malta.”

Through this piece, Ritchie not only celebrates Sheeran’s evolution as a performer but also honors the profound impact that his visit had on local artists in Malta, emphasizing the deep connection between art and the influential figures who inspire it.

Man Falls One Storey Whilst Climbing Ladder In Santa Luċija

A 63 year old man resident of Santa Luċija was injured after he fell around one storey whilst climbing down a ladder in a residence.

The incident took place at around 0700hrs in Triq il-Bruka, Santa Luċija.

A medical team was called onto site, and an ambulance transported the victim to Mater Dei Hospital for further care.

He was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.

Renowned local musician Klinsmann has just released his latest song and music video, “Something Real,” which invites listeners on an emotional journey through powerful lyrics, striking visuals, and a profound message that deeply resonates with today’s audiences.

Produced, recorded, and mixed by the talented Howard Keith at Jagged House Studios, “Something Real” offers a poignant exploration of authenticity in a world often dominated by superficiality.

The heart-wrenching lyrics, penned by Klinsmann himself, delve into the universal struggle of finding true happiness amidst the chaos of modern life.

Klinsmann was supported by a stellar team of musicians, including Bruce Busuttil and Luke Grech on electric guitars, Julian Dingli on bass, Louis Manche on drums, and Christopher Mercieca on keyboards.

The music video, directed and produced by Steven Levi Vella, perfectly captures the essence of the song, with breathtaking cinematography by DOP Victor Abela. Edgy clothing and styling were provided by Blakkript, enhancing the video’s impact.

Two New National Records Set With Pyrotechnics

The Malta Records announced two new festa related records broken in the past few days.

The first record was for the largest fan structure operated by pyrotechnics with a width of 56 feet and a height of 38 feet.

The record was set by Għaqda tan-Nar 18 t’Awissu in collaboration with Każin Santa Liena, Banda Duke of Connaught’s Own, Birkirkara.

The second record was that of the longest spectacle by musically synchronised pyrotechnics, operated manually with buttons on a switch board.

This consisted of 134 buttons and a time of 8 minutes and 30 seconds.

This record was set by the Għaqda tan-Nar 18 t’Awissu in collaboration with Għaqda Mużikali Sant’ Elena A.D. 1919.
