Liverpool to play Manchester City this afternoon

Liverpool will be welcoming Manchester City this afternoon at Anfield Stadium! The two teams are currently separated by 7 points in the table after a poor run for Liverpool and a winning streak for Man City.

This match may be more important to Liverpool have a mountain to climb but Man City are currently holding first place.

Klopp isn’t expecting to win the league but to at least qualify with the first four teams.

UK announced hotel quarantine for arrival from high risk countries as from 15th of February

The UK has announced that all people arrived from countries which are marked as high risk, will be requested to fulfil a mandatory quarantine in a hotel for 10 days.

Further details will be given next week regarding how people are to book such facilities when landing in the UK.

A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson said that this measure was needed in order to reduce the threat posed by new variants of the disease.

100 COVID-19 cases registered overnight with 157 recoveries

Malta has registered 100 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours from 3,048 swab tests, while 157 patients have recovered. This information was announced by the official Facebook page of Malta’s Ministry for Health.

As of Saturday 6th January 2021, 37,586 vaccine doses were administered.

To date, Malta has registered 18,676 COVID-19 cases in total, of which: 16,053 have recovered, 282 died and 2,341 are still active.

Madagascar seed-sized Chameleon may be world’s smallest reptile

A seed-sized chameleon was found in Madagascar and it just might be the world’s smallest reptile. This male nano-chameleon is named Brookesia nana and its body is only 13.5mm long.

The discovery was made by a German-Madagascan expedition team in northern Madagascar. The female version of this reptile is significantly larger than the male.

Its total length from nose to tail is 22mm and the female’s body from nose to tail is 29mm. The species’ habitat was subjected to deforestation and has now been placed under protection.
