Lieutenant Axisa Presented with International Award in the UK

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) proudly announces the outstanding achievement of Second Lieutenant Kieron Axisa, who has successfully completed his training at the esteemed Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

On 8 August, during the Sovereign’s Parade marking the conclusion of the demanding 44-week Commissioning Course, 2nd Lt Axisa was presented with the International Award, which recognises the top international cadet for exceptional performance in military, academic, and leadership studies, as well as practical exercises.

The AFM’s dedication to delivering comprehensive, high-quality training for all officers and other ranks is demonstrated through a combination of local training at selected academies and institutions, alongside specialised international military programmes coordinated by the AFM
