Lee Bugeja Bartolo Reiterates Pool Barrier Call After Accident

Taking to social media, former PN MEP candidate Lee Bugeja Bartolo shared the recent news that a one year old boy is at risk of dying after falling into a pool and reiterated his call to make pool barriers mandatory.
‘A few weeks ago, in the aftermath of the tragic death of six year old Zaylen, I proposed a safety measure to have pool barriers mandatory’, he wrote.
‘Some said I was ‘exaggerating’. Some tried to ridicule the proposal.’
‘As we speak, doctors and nurses are battling around the clock to save the precious life of a 1 year old toddler who was found unconscious in a pool in Gozo.’
