Laura Rio Remembered With Mural At Skate Park

A mural at Imsida Skate Park created by Glenn Cauchi, (@cooker_hkc), immortalised the late youth worker Laura Rio, who passed away earlier this month.
30 year old Laura was known for constant youth activism and was always pushing for the safety at the Imsida Skate Park… something Professor Andrew Azzopardi highlighted in a tribute he shared after Laura’s funeral.
And now her presence will remain at the skate park, with Cauchi’s mural capturing the vibrant and colourful energy of Laura which everyone who knew her adored.
Laura’s funeral was held on Saturday, 2nd August.
Rest in peace Laura.
