Mounir Nasraoui, the father of 17-year-old Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal, was reportedly stabbed multiple times in a car park in Mataro, near Barcelona. Nasraoui was taken to Can Ruti hospital in Badalona in a very injured state , though his situation is now stable, according to La Vanguardia.

Local police are investigating the attack, with witnesses being questioned to piece together the events leading up to the stabbing. Video footage has emerged showing a prior confrontation between Nasraoui and others before he was taken away by police.

Reports from Relevo and Mundo Deportivo indicate that while Nasraoui remains in the hospital, he is out of danger. The motive behind the stabbing is still unclear.

Nasraoui has been a key figure in his son’s career, recently supporting him as Spain won the European Championship by defeating England in the final. The incident has left the fans in shock

Lawrence Piscopo, a 57-year-old resident of Ħamrun, tragically lost his life due to an electric shock while cleaning vehicles in his garage.

The incident took place early this morning, around 5:00 am, on Triq Anton Inglott in Msida.

Authorities were alerted to an unresponsive individual in the common area of a garage complex.

When police arrived, they found a medical team attempting to assist the victim, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Magistrate Dr. Antoine Agius Bonnici has been notified and has initiated an inquiry into the incident, while police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
