The Malta Records announced that Gozo’s Labonski Carnival Company has set a new national record in the Maltese Islands, becoming the first and only Carnival company to achieve the most first place titles in the shortest amount of time.
Over the past 22 years, the company secured 25 victories across various categories, marking an outstanding achievement in Maltese Carnival history.

The Maltese Serbian community gathered in Valletta yesterday, showing solidarity with Serbian students.
The Valletta protest was part of a global movement calling for international support as the Serbian government continues to silence activists and journalists.
The Serbian protests began after the Novi Sad railway station collapse on the 1st of November of last year, leading to demonstrations across 400 cities. Serbian students have since been organising different types of protests, challenging the government’s transparency and calling for accountability.
These protests are threatening President Aleksandar Vučić’s 12 year rule and have already led to the Serbian Prime Minister’s resignation. However, several ministers have fled without facing any legal ramifications.

Thousands flocked to the MFCC Malta this weekend for two unforgettable nights of Michael McIntyre’s ‘MACNIFICENT’ tour, organised by G7 Events and Malta Daily. Performing to sold-out crowds, McIntyre delivered his signature blend of sharp wit, hilarious observations, and non-stop laughter.
Of course, Malta’s infamous “KANT” and traffic woes were prime material, with the comedian effortlessly poking fun at the island’s quirks, leaving the audience in fits of laughter from start to finish.
McIntyre didn’t just bring the laughs – he also brought the love! 
The comedy superstar revealed his deep affection for Malta and its people, even extending his tour to make sure he could return after previous successful visits. He joked that he would fit right in here, thanks to his love of food, feasts, and all things Maltese.

Seven adults received the Sacrament of Confirmation during a Mass at the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Ħal Balzan, with Bishop Joseph Galea Curmi administering the sacrament.
The new confirmands, from Malta, Indonesia, Italy and Colombia, had not previously received Confirmation for various reasons.
They completed a programme of catechesis and spiritual formation through the Archdiocese of Malta’s Christian Initiation of Adults Ministry, which supports adults preparing for Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist.
