The two coupled up whilst in the Love Island Malta villa, ending up in 3rd place overall in the finale.
The two became audience favourites for their energy and chemistry, building something very special in the six weeks they spent in the villa.

Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo emphasized the importance and potential of the Mediterrane Film Festival for Malta’s film industry.
In its second edition, the festival attracted over 300 foreign delegates, including top producers, directors, and other film professionals.
Bartolo highlighted that the festival aims to connect experts and decision-makers, facilitating discussions and negotiations that will benefit Malta.
He noted that this initiative promotes Malta as an ideal film destination, showcasing its facilities like the Malta Film Studios and Fort Ricasoli. “High-level meetings were held to initiate or continue the process of bringing foreign film productions to Malta,” Bartolo stated, adding that such productions could lead to significant investments.
Bartolo also addressed the need for more opportunities for Maltese youth and film professionals, explaining that the festival provided local filmmakers with rare opportunities to meet industry leaders.
Notable speakers included Marty Katz, Nathan Crowley, and Tim Miller. Activities and training sessions were offered at no cost, fostering education and networking.
The minister pointed out that Malta was the only EU country without a film festival until last year, but now it is following the example of countries like Germany and Italy.
He expressed optimism that the festival would attract more international film productions and boost screen tourism. “Our primary goal is to invest further in the film industry to create more opportunities and strengthen Malta’s global reputation,” Bartolo concluded.

As the Love Island Malta Season 2 contestants met to celebrate Ylenia’s 28th birthday just two days after the end of the season, Kyonne took the opportunity to cake Ylenia after singing her ‘Happy Birthday’.

Kyonne was always finding ways of picking on Ylenia during his stay in the villa. The couple finished in third place during the finale and were crowd favourites during the season.

In a recent statistic submitted by Matsec, it shows that women sitting for their SEC exams are more likely to obtain a better mark compared to men. This is particularly evident within students who attend state and church schools, where according to these results girls have done better by a substantial amount in most subjects. This difference is less evident among students that attend independent schools.
Boys in public schools perform poorer than girls and have the lowest passing rates across the four core subjects of Maltese, English, Maths and Physics.
The main difference is most evident in the Maltese exam. Just 46% of boys from the same school sector pass this exam, compared to 61% of girls in public schools. In Maths, English, and Physics, state school girls perform better than men.
In contrast, boys from private schools outperformed girls in all three subjects- Mathematics, physics, and English language proficiency. They also received the highest probability of receiving honours in Mathematics and English. But the females attending church schools had the highest chance of receiving a top mark in Physics.
It’s important to note that Maltese students are performing much better in English than in Maltese. Just 46% of males in state schools passed the Maltese proficiency exam, compared to 66% who passed the English exam. Furthermore. a very small percentage of pupils across all cohorts were able to get a perfect score in Maltese. This varies between 1.2% for boys attending private schools and 6.3% for girls attending religious schools.
The Matsec report also shows that, compared to men, who were more likely to select Paper 2B, where students could only hope for a passing score, females were generally more inclined to choose the more challenging Paper 2A , which qualifies students for higher marks.
