Kristy Spiteri, a 19-year-old Maltese singer, achieved an impressive 5th place at the international OAGE Second Chance Festival.
The competition gives songs that didn’t make it to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest a second chance to shine.
With the performance of her song ‘Heaven Sent’, Kristy earned 212 points, securing Malta’s spot in the top five. Italy, Finland, and Albania took the positions just above her, while Sweden claimed first place with 348 points.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Kristy described the afternoon as an unforgettable “high,” revealing that the news of her placement had left her completely “speechless.”
