Knights College Launches Special Scholarship Initiative For Students Affected By IEU Closure

Knights College has introduced a Special Scholarship Initiative to support international students impacted by the revocation of the International European University’s (IEU) temporary licence in Malta.

The initiative offers scholarships across three diploma pathways Business Management, Hospitality, and Adult Care. Students secure their place with a fully refundable 20% deposit, returned upon successful completion. If requirements are not met, the deposit will go to local charities or a dedicated scholarship fund.

The programme represents a new admission opportunity, not a continuation of IEU courses. Tutors at Knights College are volunteering to support affected students, while authorities have confirmed that student visas will be renewed once acceptance letters are provided.

Chancellor Morgan Parnis emphasised that the initiative reflects Knights College’s commitment to helping stranded students and protecting Malta’s reputation as a trusted study destination. Interested students can register via scholarships@knights.edu.mt.
