As Malta’s political parties continue to campaign in the lead-up to the March 26 election, former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has been making a number of appearances at various Labour Party events across Malta and Gozo.
In his recent Cottonera visit, Muscat was given a hero’s welcome, greeted by a roar of cheers and applause as he headed to a campaign activity organised by Labour Whip Glenn Bedingfield. As he addressed the crowds, Muscat stated that the biggest advantage built by the Labour Party is its unity, going on to appeal to attendees to let no one break them apart.
The former Prime Minister praised the government’s recent work and encouraged the people of Cottonera to, like him, vote for the Labour Party on March 26.
