According to data from Jobsplus for June 2023, there was a year-on-year decrease of 63 individuals registering under Part I of the unemployment register and a decrease of 16 individuals under Part II.
The decrease in registered unemployment was observed in most age groups except for those under 20 years old.
In terms of duration, there was a year-on-year decrease of 41 individuals registering for work for under 21 weeks and a decrease of 37 individuals registering for over one year.
The number of individuals registering for work for 21 to 52 weeks saw a minimal decrease of -1.
In June 2023, the number of persons with a disability registering for work decreased by 23 compared to the previous year, with a total of 208 persons. Males accounted for 77.4% of the total registrants with a disability.
The majority of both male and female registrants on the unemployment register were seeking occupations as Clerical Support Workers, with 23.8% for males and 39.0% for females.
