Beyond the incredible first-game win against Germany in the World Cup, the Japanese national team has been making quite a name for itself for the respectable actions conducted by the team and its supporters in Qatar.
On Wednesday, revered sports journalist Fabrizio Romano shared a photo of the Japanese team’s dressing room in immaculate condition after their victory against Germany. The photo went viral within minutes, with supporters from around the world praising the team for leaving the dressing room ‘spotless’.
This kind of conduct is not exclusive to the Japanese team, with clips of Japan’s supporters also going viral after they were caught cleaning up the stadium in the aftermath of Qatar versus Ecuador.
Japan’s national team and their supporters continue to make a name for themselves for their conduct in Qatar. Their next match-up will happen on Sunday 27th November, with Japan set to take on Costa Rica at 11AM.
Hopefully these kinds of actions will be emulated by other teams and supporters at the Qatar World Cup.
