Posting to social media, local queen of pop shared an image of her outfit which she donned for EuroPride Valletta 2023.

She explained how the outfit, created by Captain’s Cut and Robert Agius, managed to capture the essence of durability through the use of leather.

‘I am not one to particularly follow trends. I wear what feels comfortable and what I like even if it’s not exactly high fashion. I guess that’s the more down to earth side of me.’

‘However when it comes to stage and performance, I feel that through my image I am saying something. I am letting my audience know a little bit more about my personality. And I am also conveying messages I feel are important or marry my stage aesthetic well.’

She emphasised how the colours are the trans flag colours, saying that the trans community is one of the most misunderstood by laypeople.

‘Misinformation and phobia spreads hatred and fear.

It is ok to NOT understand, but that is no excuse for hatred. Read up. Inform yourselves. Ask.’

The two PN MPs had been called ‘irrelevant’ for joining the EuroPride March last weekend, but Engerer used his speech to say that they were not irrelevant due to their contributions.

‘I hate the Maltese partisan political sphere’, wrote Engerer. ‘I do sometimes fall in the trap too, although I fight it as much as possible.’

He went on to explain how the two MPs were attacked and ridiculed for their participation, going on to say that he ‘salutes them for having always been there – sometimes behind the scenes others upfront. They have a very important role to play – we need to get in our side all of those that they could easily convince.’
