Injured Swimmer Rescued By Civil Protection Malta At St Peter’s Pool

Yesterday afternoon, emergency responders from Civil Protection Malta, specifically from Fire Stations 5 and 10, swiftly answered an urgent call for assistance at St Peter’s Pool.
The incident involved an individual who had sustained a foot injury and required immediate medical attention. Rescuers acted promptly, safely transferring the patient onto the Civil Protection Department’s RHIB (Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boat).
The individual was then transported to shore, where a medical team was on standby to provide further treatment.
Civil Protection Malta extends its sincere thanks to the Emergency Department at Mater Dei Hospital for their vital support during the operation.
