Butcher Turns Sick Cats & Dogs Into Sausage Meat: Customers Sick

Butcher Turns Sick Cats & Dogs Into Sausage Meat: Customers Sick
Jun 21 2024 Share

Authorities are currently investigating claims about a butcher in Gozo who reportedly turned sick cats and dogs into minced Maltese sausages.

The news broke first through a Facebook thread which claimed that customers got sick after they consumed the meat made from the sick animals reportedly picked up from animal sanctuaries.

A post was shared on ‘Gerald Fenech COVID19 news updates’, with a slew of comments condemning the act and expressing utter disgust at the reported act.

ONE News has reported that these allegations have been circulating social media for around two weeks, with the post by Gerald Fenech revitalising the case.

Meanwhile Animal Welfare Commissioner Alison Bezzina commented on the Facebook post saying that this rumour has been going around for weeks.

‘No one can take action or put pressure for action to be taken with what till now seems to be just a rampant rumour’, Bezzina commented.

However, the Association for Abandoned Animals took to social media to reportedly confirm the rumour, calling the butcher in question an ‘idiot and savage from Xagħra.’

‘Unfortunately there is only complete silence from the authorities altough this incident happened weeks ago. We wish we could splatter his name and photo on this page. We are dying to do this actually, but we are not sure about any legal repercussions.’

Jun 21 2024 Share

Millie Bobby Brown has stunned fans as she unveiled her much anticipated wax work at London’s iconic Madame Tussauds.

The actresses’ wax work was styled as Enola Holmes one of her most known roles alongside her blockbuster role in Netflix series Stranger Things.

26 lucky fans who won a competition to be the first ones to see the Enola Holmes wax work, were surprised by the actress appearing at the official unveiling.

Millie Bobby Brown commented “I’m really honoured that it’s not just me, it’s Enola, a character that I’ve built from the age of 13. Being from London myself it’s extra special to have her figure in Madame Tussauds London. Enola’s a huge inspiration and role model for people to look up to, she’s strong and independent and leads with her heart – and I think that’s great.

“I wanted to include the fans in this moment, as they’re the reason I am where I am today. It’s a great community of young girls and young people that we’ve been able to get together to really celebrate the story of Enola Holmes. So, it was a done deal!”

Referee Stuns Fans With Unusual Euros Tattoo

Jun 21 2024 Share

Referee Artur Dias stunned football fans all around the world watching the blockbuster Euro 2024 match between England and Denmark, with a tattoo which even though unusual shows his dedication to the sport. The tattoo was of the official EURO 2020 logo, the tournament in which he officiated in and that England finished runners up in.

The tattoo was of mixed opinion with some saying that this shows the dedication that Dias has for his job and his love for the game and others joking that the game is well and truly gone, not liking the fact that the referee has a tattoo.

The game between England and Denmark ended in a fair 1-1 draw, with the Three Lions squandering their chances to qualify to the Round of 16 now having to do it on the last matchday.

Dias reportedly gets tattoos of every tournament he officiates in, even having a 2020 Tokyo Olympics tattoo. Many fans will be wondering when the referee will get a Euro 2024 tattoo.
