Prime Minister Robert Abela took to Facebook on Thursday afternoon to report that another group of illegal immigrants were returned to their country of origin.

Abela reported that the immigrants originated from countries beyond the European Union and arrived in Malta irregularly by boat last year.
It was highlighted how this return operation is possible thanks to the governmental investment and is necessary to ramp up the process of returning persons who do not require protection.
