The government announced on Wednesday that Clayton Bartolo’s former ministerial duties have been reassigned to three current ministers.
Foreign Minister Ian Borg will now also oversee tourism, as confirmed by Prime Minister Robert Abela on Tuesday.
The film industry portfolio has been transferred to Culture Minister Owen Bonnici, while Energy and Environment Minister Miriam Dalli will take on additional responsibilities for public cleansing.
Glenn Bedingfield will maintain his direct oversight of public cleansing as parliamentary secretary, but he will now report to the Environment and Energy Minister instead of the Tourism Minister.
Bartolo stepped down on Tuesday after the prime minister cited new revelations about an alleged kickback involving his wife, Amanda Muscat.
