Here’s Russell Crowe absolutely loving his time in Malta

Taking to Twitter, Gladiator actor Russell Crowe shared various snapshots of his holiday in Malta, absolutely fascinated by the sights he’s witnessing on the island.

Crowe’s love for the island is quite well-known by now, having filmed Gladiator on the island and loving some pastizzi indulgences whenever he visits.

This time around, he took to Twitter to share images of moonlight over the surrounding seas as well as a black-and-white early hour image of a local on a boat.

The actor seemingly cannot get enough of the island.

Former PN MP hits out at Bernard Grech after Adrian Delia remarks

Former PN MP hits out at Bernard Grech after Adrian Delia remarks
Oct 11 2022 Share

Former Nationalist Party MP Mario Galea hit out at current leader Bernard Grech after comments he made during a Lovin Malta interview in regards to the state of the party under different leadership.

Mario Galea responded to the interview in question saying: ‘Dr Grech, the fact that no one is going to the President does not mean we are happy with you. You thinking the PN is happy with you is an illusion. You might be personally better. But the party is surely not. You broke a party. You sincerely have no shame.’

During the interview, Bernard Grech stated that the Nationalist Party is in a much better state than it was two and a half years ago, when Adrian Delia was the chief of the party.

When pressed about the statement by interviewer Tim Diacono, Grech said that no one from within the party was going to the President to change the leader.

To this, Delia responded in a similar vein to Galea’s response. Delia had stated that whether the party is better or worse is up to the people to decide. ‘But I do not think that it is fair to revel in the fact that you (Grech) were not betrayed’ said Delia.

‘If anything, this is disrespect to the councillor of the party and their vote. Even though I was betrayed, as Bernard Grech reminds us here, I decided, with responsibility, that the party should still not suffer for it and therefore remained loyal.’

Mario Galea’s history with his PN candidature is also strenuous after he rejected claims by Grech that there was an agreement to withdraw his election candidature in lieu of this year’s March election.

Mario Galea had confirmed, along with Clyde Puli, Kristy Debono and Claudio Grech, that they would not be contesting the general election to give way for new blood in parliament.

However, he had revealed that his life had been made a living hell by people close to the PN leadership, despite having already having prepared his campaign.

Touching tribute for woman who fell in flooded road by her son

Touching tribute for woman who fell in flooded road by her son

A heart-warming post issued by Karl Cauchi, the son of Deborah Cauchi, the woman who was filmed falling whilst attempting to carry a child across a flooded street, went viral on social media.

Karl opened his message by stating that when he opened up social media, he saw many people trying to ridicule her. He said that very few people know ‘how big of a heart you have and how many times you sacrificed yourself to bring us where we are today.’

He described her as a woman who tries to solve problems whilst others around her do nothing and someone who radiates empathy. A woman with a solar smile and a ray of sunshine when all lanterns are extinguished.

‘I assure you that what happened today showed all of this. We’re living in a paper mache world […] a world of likes, views and other ridiculous things.’

‘A world that does not deserve a person of integrity and solid values such as yourself. A world that does not know what it means to love. I love you, dear. And thank you for the lesson you taught me today. Remember you are amazing.’

‘Yours truly, Karl (someone who has the privilege of being your son).’
