TikTok outright bans Milk Crate Challenge

TikTok outright bans Milk Crate Challenge
Aug 28 2021 Share

Following the rise of new TikTok challenge ‘The Milk Crate Challenge’, the platform decided to outright ban it due to it involving dangerous stunts. If you haven’t seen any of these videos yet, it involves people stacking up milk crates like a pyramid and then trying to walk up and down the triangular construct. Due to it being an obviously not so rigid structure, most people end up falling off, crates flying on top of them and some getting quite injured.

The challenge blew up on the social media platform, with the eventual crash being the highlight of most videos. However, accompanied by a statement which says ‘TikTok prohibits content that promotes or glorifies dangerous acts’, the platform removed the search results for the hashtag of the challenge removed. TikTok’s statement encouraged ‘everyone to exercise caution in their behaviour whether online or off’.

Today was certainly a crazy one for the Portuguese superstar as early in the morning and yesterday, he was supposed to be signing for rivals Manchester City. Him leaving was even confirmed by Juventus coach Allegri today, when he told the press “Cristiano Ronaldo told me yesterday that he wants to LEAVE Juventus immediatly. It’s true and confirmed. This is why he wasn’t training today and he’s not available for tomorrow match vs Empoli”.

Everyone thought he would be a Manchester City player come next morning, but all that changed when Manchester United boss Ole Gannar Solskjær excited the press and fans alike when he said “Cristiano Ronaldo? We’ve always had a good communication. Bruno has been talking to him as well and he knows what we feel about him. If he was ever going to move away from Juventus, he knows WE ARE HERE”.

After Ole’s press conference, everything changed. The agreement Ronaldo with Manchester City collapsed which reportedly led to former manager Sir Alex Ferguson giving him a call and convincing him to sign with his former team. The negations were agreed very quickly as the club have just announced the signing.
