Heavily decomposed corpse found in Ġnejna Bay

Police were informed today at around 1130hrs that a dead body was spotted in Ġnejna Bay.
Given the information, police convened immediately on site to retrieve the body, which is currently unidentifiable due to being in a heavy state of decomposition.An inquiry has been opened by Magistrate Dr Elaine Mercieca LL.D as the autopsy on the body is still undergoing. Police investigations are still ongoing.
