Handaq school to start getting air-conditioning in classrooms
Jun 16 2022 Share

Education Minister Clifton Grima revealed that in the coming days, around 540 air conditioning units will be installed in Hal Qormi’s Handaq School.

The instalment of air-conditioning systems will be done through an investment of €2 million, with the Minister revealing the news as an answer to a question by Labour MP Ray Abela.

Grima said that, as of yet, there are 31 educational institutions which have air conditioning systems in their classrooms. He explained that the government will be carrying out its electoral manifesto’s proposals to have all classrooms be given air conditioning.

The issue had been raised countless times, with the latest one made by PN MP Justin Schembri, wherein he ‘challenged’ the Minister and the Prime Minister to sit in the classrooms as a ‘pandemic of heat’ rolled in.

The Maltese photographer managed to get some shots of the Notorious Conor McGregor, who visited the Monaco F1 Grand Prix with his ‘supercar of the sea’, worth a cool $3.5 million.

In Jurkovic’s reel, the Maltese creator managed to capture the eccentric fighter and outspoken personality walking down one of the lanes as he greeted fans in a bright co-ord outfit and signature shades. Despite being surrounded by security and a considerable entourage, the resulting snaps were an absolute moment.
