In association with Ħamrun Ħanin, players and officials from Ħamrun Spartans visited loyal fans who currently reside at the Corradino Correctional Facility.
‘Ħamrun Spartans left no stone unturned in reaching every element of their wide support base in sharing the celebratory mood after claiming the Ninth Premier League title in their history.’
Through such a visit, Ħamrun Ħanin had the opportunity to bring the values of joy and inclusivity to those who for one reason or another are currently residing at the facility.
Ognjen Bjeličić and Roko Prsa met with a number of residents and shared their experiences, along with team manager David Camilleri and Kit Manager Gilbert Camilleri.
The players and officials were welcomed by the Facility’s Director Christopher Siegersma and by Manolito Micallef, the latter being responsible for the coordination of sporting activities at the CCF.
Ħamrun Ħanin chairman Ian Debattista expressed how such a special visit would fill residents with courage and determination to work harder towards their rehabilitation and be able to rejoin the community as soon as possible.
