Gżira, St Julian’s & Msida All Have More Foreign Residents than Maltese

In a recent parliamentary question, Finance Minister Clyde Caruana revealed that the latest NSO figures show foreigners now outnumber Maltese residents in Gżira, St Julian’s and Msida.
In 2024, the population of Msida stood at 16,609, with 5,954 Maltese residents compared to 10,655 foreigners. St Julian’s recorded a population of 15,208, made up of 6,510 Maltese and 8,698 foreigners. Meanwhile, Gżira had 12,054 residents, including 4,848 Maltese and 7,206 foreigners.What do you think?
