Gozo’s First Strawberry Festival This Sunday

This Sunday, 18th May 2025, Nadur Square in Gozo will come alive with the island’s first-ever Strawberry Festival, Qalb il-Frawli, celebrating the sweet and vibrant strawberry season.
The festival promises a feast for the senses, with a mouth-watering selection of strawberry treats including strawberry shortcake, ice cream, homemade jams, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Visitors can also browse the bustling Strawberry Market, featuring fresh local produce and handcrafted goods from talented Gozitan vendors.
Throughout the day, live entertainment will keep spirits high, with music, dancing, and fun competitions filling the square with energy and excitement.
For families, the festival offers plenty of kid-friendly activities, including a bouncing castle, traditional games, arts and crafts, and strawberry-themed contests—ensuring fun for all ages.
