According to data tabled in parliament, it was revealed that no women died during or shortly after childbirth between January of 2012 and December of 2023.

This information was tabled by Minister for Health Jo Etienne Abela upon the request of MP Graziella Attard Previ.

According to data tabled in parliament, 28,045 people acquired Maltese citizenship from 2013 to 2024.

The information was tabled by Minister Byron Camilleri upon the request of MP Chris Said.

The data show that 2018 had the highest number of persons acquiring Maltese citizenship at 3,610 during these years in question.

Meanwhile, 2014 registered the lowest amount at 902 persons.
