Gozo’s €10 million aquatic sports complex project enters its second phase as works continue on this first-of-its-kind centre in Gozo.
Spread over 5,800 square metres, the aquatic centre will offer an olympic-size pool for waterpolo and other aquatic disciplines as Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri shows his enthusiasm in welcoming this ambitious project where Gozitan athletes will no longer have to travel to Malta to practice such sports.
The project underwent consultation with the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta, the Special Olympics, the Gozo Sports Board and the Otters ASC Waterpolo Club.
