Government Donates €15,000 Towards Fabio Spiteri’s ‘Project 100’ For Animal Shelters

Prime Minister Robert Abela announced that €15,000 from the Social Causes Fund was donated as a contribution towards Maltese endurance athlete Fabio Spiteri’s latest initiative, ‘Project 100’, a project aimed at supporting animal shelters across Malta.
The government contribution will go towards helping Fabio continue his long-standing efforts to assist animals in need, a cause that has become a central part of his mission both on and off the track.
This latest donation highlights official recognition of Fabio’s commitment. Known for his big heart, Fabio has consistently used his endurance feats to raise funds and awareness for animal welfare. Last year alone, he collected €77,500, which was directly used to support shelters and rescue initiatives across the country.
