STUDENTS! Don't worry about re-sits; these FREE SEC Revision classes have got you sorted
Jun 27 2022 Share

One of students’ biggest concerns during exam season is the fact that they could very well underperform in a subject or two and have a re-sit hanging over their head during the entire summer. Knowing that you have a re-sit is never good news, especially knowing the amount of groundwork you have to lay down before going at it again but thankfully, Jobsplus have got students sorted for summer with their free SEC revision classes.

The classes are available for young people between the ages of 15 and 24 who will be sitting for SEC resit exams at Ordinary level in September 2022 in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Maltese and English. These free classes will certainly put students’ mind at rest with warranted teachers providing free lessons, both online or in-class as well as free provision of online learning videos, tests and past papers.

AI humanoid robot ‘Optimus’ will be ready in three months says Elon Musk

AI humanoid robot ‘Optimus’ will be ready in three months says Elon Musk
Jun 26 2022 Share

Elon Musk’s AI humanoid robot could have a first prototype ready within just three months from now, and it will be called ‘Optimus.’

The robot, the Tesla CEO revealed, will be able to walk around at speeds of 5mph and lift up to 150lbs for its intended purpose of carrying out manual labour.

Musk is set to show off Optimus at the company’s ‘AI Day’ event which is scheduled for the 30th of September and thinks that Tesla could move Optimus from prototype to production as early as next year.

The SpaceX founder claimed the switch to robots doing menial tasks will usher in an ‘age of abundance’ as we would just employ robots to do all the work we don’t want to do. The robots will transform the world more than the electric cars by Tesla themselves, said Musk.

The robot was first teased back during the previous AI Day in August of last year as Musk claimed that the rise of the machines would have profound economic implications. Apart from handling boring and even dangerous tasks, the robots can even pick up shopping or do simple house chores.

And for those worrying about a Terminator-esque end of the world, Musk said that the robot could be easily overpowered by humans. However, he did also say that each robot could develop unique personalities over time.
