Adding to the event’s grandeur, King Charles III was among the esteemed guests, with other high-profile attendees like Andrew Scott, Chloé Zhao, Jodie Turner-Smith, Idris Elba, and filmmakers and producers Doug Wick, Lucy Fisher, and Michael Pruss.
Gladiator II continues the story of ancient Rome, centering on Lucius (played by Mescal), who, years after the death of the legendary Maximus, finds himself drawn into the violent world of the Colosseum.
As Rome falls under the grip of tyrannical emperors, Lucius, fueled by vengeance and honor, must confront his past to reclaim Rome’s former glory for its people. With themes of power, resilience, and justice, Gladiator II promises an epic return to the grandeur and brutality of Rome, reimagining its legacy for a new generation.
