The Ghaxaq Music Festival 2025 is set to deliver its most electrifying edition yet, with an exciting lineup that kicks off with a legendary performance by Zucchero.

As part of his Overdose D’Amore World Tour, the Italian blues-rock icon will take the stage on 17th July 2025 at the Ghaxaq Grounds, bringing his full band and crew for a night of unforgettable music.

With a career spanning over 40 years, Zucchero has sold over 60 million records worldwide and collaborated with industry greats such as Eric Clapton, Bono, Luciano Pavarotti, and Sting. His unique blend of blues, rock, gospel, and soul has earned him a Grammy nomination and multiple World Music Awards.

Notably, he was the first Western artist to perform at the Kremlin after the fall of the Soviet Union and has graced the Royal Albert Hall stage multiple times.

The Overdose D’Amore World Tour has captivated audiences worldwide, featuring some of Zucchero’s greatest hits, including Senza Una Donna, Baila (Sexy Thing), Diavolo In Me, and Diamante.

The event centred around the importance of 112 Emergency Number Day.

Students had the opportunity to learn about emergency response, safety awareness, and the crucial role of 112 in saving lives.

A Maltese woman left a popular influencer speechless after successfully confusing him with the Maltese language in a viral TikTok video.

The influencer, known as @lingualizer on TikTok (3.8 million followers) and Instagram (37,000 followers), regularly challenges himself to identify languages spoken by random people. In his latest video, he attempts to guess the language spoken by the Maltese woman—but after two incorrect tries, he admits defeat.

Initially, he guessed Albanian and Georgian, but neither was correct. The woman strategically used Maltese words to throw him off, making it even harder for him to identify the language. Despite his failure to guess correctly, the influencer showcased his passion for languages by ending the conversation with a Maltese farewell, saying “grazzi” (thank you).

The clip has since gained 615.2K views and 25.1K likes, sparking excitement among Maltese speakers who love seeing their language recognized online.
