According to a new article posted by Forbes titled ‘The 15 Most Beautiful Beaches In Europe’ and subtitled ‘Malta Tops 2024 Rankings By European Best Destinations’, Għajn Tuffieħa is the most beautiful beach in Europe.

In an article shared on May 2nd, 2024, the iconic Maltese beach was awarded for its commitment to sustainable tourism by the European Commission.

The year’s rankings were assembled by the European Best Destinations (EBD) and based the results on the votes of 103,224 worldwide travellers from 116 countries.

‘Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, with its glorious cliffs, sand beach and remains of Roman baths was the most voted for sunny holidays in Malta.’

‘“This beach offers high standards of cleanliness and services. Restaurants and snack bars, sunbeds and water activities also available,” writes EBD.’

The organization recommends Malta, located in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and the North African coast, as a destination “with a unique offer of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, horse riding, paddle, snorkeling, diving and other water sports” for lovers, families and foodies.

Valletta Play Last Match With Average Age Of 20

Valletta Play Last Match With Average Age Of 20
May 3 2024 Share

Valletta FC relied on their youthful talents in their final Premier League appearance, aiming for a swift return after relegation.

Buoyed by their young players’ contributions against Gudja United, the team bid farewell to the league with a victory, showcasing promise despite a disappointing season. Fielding their youngest-ever lineup, with an average age of just 20, Valletta included several Youth League champions in their squad.

Prior to kickoff, they paid tribute to former striker and coach Danilo Doncic. The match saw Valletta dominate, with goals from Shaun Dimech, Klose Azzopardi Conti, and Keyon Ewurum.

Although Gudja United managed to score, they struggled against Valletta’s youthful energy. Valletta’s victory, however, was overshadowed by their upcoming FA Trophy semifinal clash against Birkirkara.

Despite resting key players, Sliema comfortably defeated Sirens, with Danil Kondrakov scoring a brace and Neil Frendo adding another. The win marked Sliema’s 14th of the season, reaching the 50-point mark.

While the match lacked intensity, it provided valuable preparation for the upcoming semifinal showdown. Despite lineup changes, Sliema capitalized on a weakened Sirens side to secure a convincing victory.
