German MEP Tries To Speak In Maltese At European Parliament

German Member of the European Parliament Lukas Sieper tried to speak in Maltese when as Maltese MEP Thomas Bajada took to the podium.

During the parliamentary session, Bajada was pleasantly surprised by Sieper attempting to read off his phone in the Maltese language.

And although the pronunciation made it very difficult to understand, bar some words here and there, the effort was greatly appreciated by Bajada, who immediately thanked him for his effort.
