Summer in Malta is a time of heat, sunshine, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. But as any Maltese resident knows, summer in this Mediterranean country can also be a challenge, especially if you’re not prepared with the right essentials. Here are six must-have items for anyone living in Malta during the summer months.

Baggy White Tee

A baggy white tee is the perfect choice for those hot summer days when you want to stay cool and comfortable. This simple, versatile item can be dressed up or down, and is perfect for pairing with shorts, skirts or jeans. It’s also great for protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays, while still allowing your skin to breathe.

Pair of Adidas Gazelles

When it comes to summer footwear, you can’t go wrong with a pair of Adidas Gazelles. These classic sneakers are both stylish and comfortable, making them the perfect choice for walking around Malta’s streets or beaches. Plus, they come in a variety of colours, so you can choose the perfect pair to match your summer wardrobe.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses are a must-have for anyone living in Malta during the summer months. Not only do they protect your eyes from the bright sun, but they also add a stylish touch to any outfit. Look for a pair that offers 100% UV protection and fits comfortably on your face.

Deodorant

When temperatures soar, sweat is inevitable. To avoid feeling self-conscious about body odour, make sure to pack a reliable deodorant. Look for one that’s designed to last all day, and opt for a scent that’s light and fresh.

Air Conditioning

If you’re living in Malta during the summer months, air conditioning is an absolute must. Whether you’re at home or in the office, having a reliable AC system can make all the difference in staying cool and comfortable during the hottest days of the year.

Tote Bag

Finally, a tote bag is the perfect accessory for anyone living in Malta during the summer months. Whether you’re heading to the beach or running errands around town, a tote bag can hold all of your essentials while still looking stylish. Look for one that’s made from lightweight, breathable materials like cotton or canvas.

In conclusion, these six essentials are must-haves for anyone living in Malta during the summer months. By staying prepared with a baggy white tee, a pair of Adidas Gazelles, sunglasses, deodorant, air conditioning and a tote bag, you’ll be ready to take on whatever the season throws your way.

Under the care of Fondazzjoni Sebħ, an NGO that engages 80 workers to provide round-the-clock support for 41 children and mothers escaping violence with their kids, the pair will be undertaking the challenge between Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May.

Hospitality consultant Claudio Camilleri will be attempting 200km on a 400m track in 35 hours at the age of 46.  For his part, Daniel Abela will test how far he can go to raise enough money for The Children in Need Foundation and thus fund regular therapy sessions for the kids at the foundation’s home.

The event is called 1Run1Childhood, and also aims to urge companies and people to contribute to the cause and see the project survive for up to the next three years.

If you wish to support their cause, you can do so by visiting the pages of 1RUN or Abela and Camilleri themselves. Way to go lads!

Ex-White House doctor demands Biden take cognitive test or drop out of race

Ex-White House doctor demands Biden take cognitive test or drop out of race
Apr 26 2023 Share

After President Joe Biden announced that he would be running for president in 2024, ex-White House doctor Rep. Ronny Jackson demanded that Biden take a cognitive test or drop out of the race altogether.

The Republican, who was appointed Assistant to the President and Chief Medical Advisor during Donald Trump’s administration, has requested that the president take a test to prove if he is capable to lead the country for another four years if he wins.

In a letter obtained by The New York Post, Jackson said: “We call on you to either resign immediately and renounce your bid for reelection or submit to a clinically validated cognitive screening assessment and make those results available to the public.”

The letter points to various instances wherein Biden ‘shuffled his feet, tripped when he walked, slurred his words, forgot names, lost his train of thought and appeared momentarily confused’ during public appearances.

Jackson has been renewing such calls all throughout Biden’s administration, saying that the president should ‘follow the example set by former President Trump’.

Despite this, the White House gave Biden a nearly clean bill of health earlier this year after his annual physical.
