The announcement was made by the Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government, Alison Zerafa Civelli, alongside the Director General of the Local Government Division, Emil Vassallo.

“Our aim is to have these activities spread throughout the year, not only during the summer months but at other times as well. These events offer our communities the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends. Many began as small initiatives and have grown into events eagerly anticipated by Maltese and Gozitan alike. For this reason, the government will continue to act as a catalyst for these schemes through the Local Government Division,” the Parliamentary Secretary stated.
