Four Maltese adventurers—Karl Galea, Alexander Cauchi, Ben Spiteri, and Michael Mallia—are gearing up and getting ready for an extraordinary journey from Malta to Mongolia this summer in support of Hospice Malta.

Their expedition, titled Rotta Bla Kondotta, will see them travel to 19 countries in approximately 4–6 weeks, departing from Malta on 1st July.

Their mode of transport? Karl’s grandfather’s old Daihatsu Sirion.

The route will take them through Italy, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, China, and finally Mongolia.

Beyond the adventure, the team aims to immerse themselves in diverse cultures, sharing their experiences while raising awareness and funds for Hospice Malta.

Their mission is also to inspire other young adventurers to embrace challenges and support meaningful causes.

This ambitious journey is a testament to their determination, blending exploration with philanthropy.

As they prepare for this incredible feat, their efforts highlight the power of adventure-driven fundraising and the importance of stepping outside one’s comfort zone for a good cause.
