2006 World Cup winner and former Juventus star Mauro German Camoranesi has just been appointed coach of Floriana FC.

Set to replace Gianluca Atzori, who stepped down from his role late last May, Camoranesi will now be leading ‘the club’s new technical project with the sole aim to help Floriana Football Club reach new heights’, the club explained.

The club, of course, welcomed him with open arms and with a public statement, saying that they are ready to redefine the club’s essence and embark on an exciting journey together.

Camoranesi boasts an extensive football career, beginning in 1995 Argentina. He joined Verona in 2000 before getting a transfer to Serve A champions Juventus in 2002.

He played in the UEFA Euro 2004, UEFA Euro 2008, the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, as well as in 2006 and 2010’s FIFA World Cup.

Apple Vision Pro: Apple’s Augmented Reality Headset

Apple Vision Pro: Apple's Augmented Reality Headset

Apple has officially announced its augmented reality headset called Apple Vision Pro, which CEO Tim Took describes as the first Apple product you look through, and not at.

Looking like a pair of ski goggles, the AR headset works by using the eyes, hands and voice to navigate through apps and the digital world.

With a price tag currently set at a whopping $3,499 and with a launch set for early 2024 in the US, the headset can switch between augment and full virtual reality.

Users can browse through app icons in an operating system called visionOS by simply looking at them. They can also tap to select, flick to scroll or talk to the device to give commands.

The headset also tries to not completely separate you form the people around as the headset will display your eyes with a system called EyeSight. However, if you’re in full VR, a glowing screen will obscure them to suggest you are not available.

In the works for years, it has suffered various delays before its final release. With competitors sure to come in the form of Meta and the like, it will be a while before this will be up for commercial use.
