Flames Across The Meadows Lights Up Gozo’s Sky

On Saturday 12 July 2025, Ta’ Kerċem in Gozo hosted the dazzling Flames Across the Meadowsfireworks show as part of the Festa tal-Madonna tas-Sokkors.

Organised by the Għaqda Nar Kerċem, the annual event thrilled crowds with a stunning pyrotechnic display synchronised to music.

Each year, organisers build a large wooden structure inspired by a famous international landmark, which is then set alight as the centrepiece of the show.

In past editions, they have recreated the Eiffel Tower and other iconic monuments.

This year’s theme celebrated Beijing, with a special tribute to the Summer Palace.
