First Turtle Nest Of 2025 At Ġnejna Fully Hatched

The Ġnejna turtle nest has now fully hatched, with an impressive total of 79 hatchlings emerging safely.

Following a busy few nights, dedicated officials from the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) alongside volunteers from Nature Trust Malta (NTM) carefully opened the nest to ensure all the turtles had hatched.

During this process, important data was collected to support ongoing conservation efforts.
