And here it is – our first official look at Lady Gaga donning the mantle of super villain Harley Quinn as she is set to appear in the sequel to Todd Philip’s ‘Joker.’

‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ will star the previous award-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix as he finally encounters his other comic book half in the sequel, as portrayed by Gaga.

In these new images, we can see Gaga, being escorted by police, in a scarlet jacket and a diamond—print blouse. In the images, Gaga’s Quinn seems to be protesting the release of Joker from arrest, indicating that she has already been lured in by the villain’s manipulative tendrils.

A look at the comments indicates that many are seemingly turning more in favour towards Gaga portraying the character. Many are reminding skeptics that the announcement that Heath Ledger would be portraying Joker was not immediately well-received.

That performance turned out to go down in comic book movie history. And it seems as though many are hoping that Gaga could do the same for Harley – despite the iconic performances by Margot Robbie.

Radio host Martina Żammit married her partner Emma in a beautiful celebration of love yesterday, and the event saw the return of one Malta’s greatest musical classics: Desire by Claudette Buttigieg.

Claudette took a career into politics, which limited her time from continuing to perform for the Maltese public. So yesterday’s wedding was more than a sweet surprise for all the attendees as they relived the song’s live return.

Maltese media sensation Ben Camille, who was a guest at the wedding, took to his Instagram stories to immortalise the moment it happened as the audience cheered on the music.

But ‘Desire’ was not the only classic that made a comeback during the night as Chiara, who represented Malta for the Eurovision Song Contest, also took to the stage to bring back some oldies and celebrate the wedding.
