Fifth Turtle Nest Of The Season Confirmed At Ramla l-Ħamra Beach, Gozo

Taking to social media, the Environment & Resources Authority (ERA) reported that the fifth turtle nest of this summer has been confirmed at Ramla l-Ħamra beach in Gozo.

Nature Trust volunteers spotted the turtle at around 2am while patrolling near the nest area.

Following the laying of the nest, the turtle was confirmed to be Johanna via microchip scanning, making this her third nest this season.
