European Parliament President Roberta Metsola Visits Latvia’s Ādaži Military Base

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa highlighted the importance of modern defence cooperation during a visit by European Parliament President Roberta Metsola to the Ādaži military base.
“Modern technology, drone solutions, intelligence systems it all shows that defence has become smarter, faster and more accurate,” Siliņa said. “Allies who train in Latvia not only protect us, but can also learn from us.”
Siliņa expressed her appreciation for Metsola’s visit, noting, “It was a great pleasure for the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, to see the Ādaži military base in person and learn more about the measures being taken to strengthen the presence of NATO allies in Latvia.”
