De Mondion Restaurant Mourn passing of Chef Roderick

The de Mondion Restaurant team issued a tribute to Roderick Micallef, who passed away over the weekend.
Describing him as one of the brightest lights from the kitchen team, de Mondion wrote that he remained positive despite whatever he was going through.
‘He worked with The Xara Collection for over 25 years, treating the company as his second home. He grew up in the kitchen and passed on his talent and expertise to so many young aspiring chefs’, wrote the restaurant.
‘Roderick; our Colleague, Friend and Brother…we will deeply miss you but will treasure all the wonderful memories together.’
