The home, managed by The Malta LGBTIQ Rights Movement (MGRM), will provide shelter for up to two years, offering a safe space for residents while alleviating pressure on the Housing Authority.

During the inauguration, Prime Minister Abela highlighted the government’s ongoing commitment to social inclusion and addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. He stressed that the government’s work in civil rights reforms continues with initiatives like Dar il-Qawsalla, which responds to new social realities.

Minister Galdes spoke about the holistic approach to housing, with this project supported by the Housing Development Fund in collaboration with MGRM. He emphasized the importance of non-governmental partnerships in expanding social services.

Residents will receive social work and therapeutic support, provided free of charge by Rainbow Support Services, to help them rebuild their lives, reconnect with loved ones, and transition to independent living.

12 Unreleased Michael Jackson Songs Found in Storage Unit

12 Unreleased Michael Jackson Songs Found in Storage Unit
Dec 15 2024 Share

Twelve unreleased songs by Michael Jackson have been discovered in an abandoned storage unit in California. The tapes, unearthed by former California Highway Patrol officer and “treasure hunter” Gregg Musgrove, provide a rare glimpse into the King of Pop’s unreleased material.

Musgrove told The Hollywood Reporter that the storage unit, located in the San Fernando Valley, once belonged to singer and producer Bryan Loren, known for creating the 1990 hit Do the Bartman for The Simpsons. Loren’s current whereabouts are reportedly unknown.

The songs, stored on cassette and digital audio tapes, include Don’t Believe It, which appears to address media stories about Jackson, and Truth on Youth, a rap duet featuring LL Cool J. However, Jackson’s estate has declined to purchase the collection, citing that Musgrove does not hold the copyrights, which prevents public release.

While snippets of the tracks have allegedly leaked on fan sites, the tapes remain in a secure facility managed by Musgrove’s attorney. Musgrove plans to offer the collection to major auction houses, estimating its value in the millions. Legal hurdles, however, leave the future of these songs uncertain.
